1 Get to know us and the process

Book your initial appointment with Solas Orthodontics.

You’ll have an initial consultation with Dr O’Connor at our Perth orthodontic clinic to determine whether braces should be applied as part of your smile journey.

2 We take a 3D scan

We use the latest tech to take a 3D scan of your mouth.

Solas is home to the latest digital scanning technology and in-house X-ray facilities to check out, the underlying causes of alignment issues, and show your what the finished result could look like.

3 It’s time to get your clear braces fitted

A single appointment and you’re away!

Once you’re happy with the proposed treatment plan, Dr O’Connor and our team will put the braces on and make any adjustments required.

4 Keeping everything in check

The magic begins.

You’ll visit us every 4-8 weeks (approx.) for adjustments and to check how the treatment is progressing. We have plenty of after school appointments available.

5 Follow ups and after-care

Parents never fear. We’re here for you questions any time.

The full Damon clear braces treatment will usually take between 12 and 24 months. One you have the braces off, we provide 12 months after-care follow ups.

How long do I have to wear braces?

Everyone’s a little different, but it’s usually 12-months to 2-years. The good thing is, with the barely noticeable design, Damon Clear won’t stand out in your Instagram pics or your year 12 ball photos.

Is it ever too late to get braces?

Nope! Braces are usually fitted by the age of 12 or 13, when adult teeth have fully developed. But there are many options for older teen braces including near-invisible options like Damon Clear.
